So I wrote this truly believing I was filling a prompt over at comment_fic. Then I went to post it and discovered that the prompt I thought I was writing for didn't actually exist. My own brain hijacked me. How frustrating. So if this feels strange somehow, I thoroughly blame the phantom prompt. Yeah, that's the ticket.
