I. Am. God. (But not a very good one.)
Apr. 9th, 2007 02:59 pm1) Gone for a while, but I guess I'm back now. I spent most of my weekend staying up until daylight and getting up by 2pm. Easter was...nice. My parents came into town and gave me this ginormous Easter basket. I had Chinese food and enough candy to make an entire preschool class go haywire. Then I "donated" the rest of the sugary crap (lots of Palmers krispy eggs and foil-wrapped bunnies, plus Peeps and espresso candies and stuff) to Mod A, my sister mod. (The dormitory I live in has two "mods" per floor. A mod consists of a central common room with three hallways of six people each branching off it it. My mod has two male hallways and one female, Mod A has two female and one male.) So I waltz in and plunk down a huge (mostly full) Easter basket, and you'da thought they'd been starved for weeks, the way the guys eyed it. I bet if I go in there today there won't even be a trace of it.
2) My copy of Twilight finally came in from the library! \o/ It had to come all the way from Bowling Green. Imma gonna read it when I get a little free time.
3) I have two five-page papers due tomorrow. Have I started them? No. Do I know what they're about? Yes...ish. Will I get them done? Certainly. Will I be sane afterwards? Probably not, but I wasn't real sane to begin with.
4) No, Harry Potter, you will not win me back! I am Supernatural's bitch now, and you may not try to steal my fandom love! Stop sending Draco and the Malfoys to take over my iTunes and make me go "awwww, now I wanna read Chamber of Secrets!" I will love you over the summer when you give me a movie and the final book and Supernatural is in between seasons (because it will be renewed, it will!). Now leave me alone, you scarred little freak, and take your lovable werewolves and Weasleys with you.
5) Have you ever had a dream where you could've sworn you never existed conventionally at all? That your human shell was nothing but a hindrance, and your true powers were so much greater that the senses alone weren't enough to register them? That you were weightless, always expanding? That you understood everything and were everything? That you were God? I had one Sunday morning. It was confusing, but beautiful. The phone rang however, and I felt this crushing sensation as I came back to just being Pyrebi, the human, and awoke. How bizarre. I wish I could remember what I had thought when I was God. It was nifty.
6) Coming off that weird-ass note, I saw Bones 2.18 "The Killer in the Concrete" last week, but forgot to post my reactions.
